Privacy Policy

1. Preliminary provisions

Concepts written with a capital letter have the meaning given to them in the Regulations of www.medmiles.pl. Online Store, if the Customer is understood, depending on the context, as a Customer or Guest visiting the Store’s website.

2. Personal data

In order to use the services offered by the Seller via the Store, each Customer must complete the appropriate form. Requires specific personal data to be provided.

Providing personal data in the form is voluntary, however, they are necessary for the Seller to provide services to Customers via the Store. Without personal data, it is not possible to provide these services.

All personal data provided by the Customer in the registration form, order form or in any correspondence with the Seller are processed in a manner consistent with the requirements set out in Polish law, and above all, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/, hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”.

The administrator of personal data is the Seller.

The Seller may entrust the processing of Customers’ personal data to another entity on the basis of a concluded personal data processing agreement.

The Seller also informs that the recipients of personal data will be: entities providing the Seller with hosting services for the Store or data, providers of tools for sending newsletters, providers of analytical tools, providers of marketing tools, marketing agencies, operators of payment methods available in the Store, suppliers and post offices delivering products. purchased in the Store, the Seller’s franchisee and, within the scope of data provided in the product evaluation form – people visiting the Store.

The customer has the right to access his or her personal data, correct it, request deletion, limit processing, and transfer data. If personal data are processed unlawfully, the Customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

The customer also has the right to object to the processing of his personal data in two ways if personal data is processed:

  1. a) for direct marketing purposes; this objection does not require justification,
  2. b) based on another legally justified interest of the Seller; the objection must be justified by the Client’s particular situation.

 

The Seller processes the Customer’s personal data and uses them to the extent and purpose necessary to provide the services offered in the Store, including for the purpose of considering complaints and exercising the right to withdraw from the contract, answering questions presented by the Customer in the contact form, in order to handle complaints reported by the Customer. the Customer’s case, in order to enable the Customer to express an opinion about the product and publish this opinion on the Store’s website and for marketing purposes consisting in promoting the Seller, their services and the Store.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 section 1 letter b, c and letter f GDPR. It is in the legally justified interest of the administrator to conduct marketing of its own services and the Seller’s services, to answer questions asked by the Customer and to consider the case reported by him, as well as to enable the Customer to express his opinion about the product and post it on the Store’s website.

Based on the Customer’s additional and optional consent, which may be expressed in a separate statement, the Seller is entitled to send newsletters to the addresses specified by them, including any information regarding new products or promotional campaigns. If such consent is given, the legal basis for the processing of personal data will also be Art. 10 of the Act of July 18, 2002 on the provision of electronic services and Art. 172 of the Act of 16/07/2004 Telecommunications Law. If the Customer gives such consent, he or she may later withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the current processing of personal data.

Personal data will be processed for the time necessary to provide services to the Customer by the Seller, and after completion of their provision for the time necessary to demonstrate the proper performance of duties by the Seller to the Customer. This period corresponds to the limitation period for claims and the limitation period for tax liabilities. Personal data processed as part of marketing activities will be processed until they are carried out by the Seller or until the Customer objects to further processing of his personal data for marketing purposes or until he withdraws his consent to receive marketing information to the e-mail address: kontakt@medmiles.pl. Personal data processed in connection with the Customer’s contact with the Seller will be processed for the time necessary to respond to the Customer’s message and consider the matter to which it relates. Personal data processed in order for the Customer to express an opinion on any product, in connection with the publication of such an opinion, will be processed as long as the product covered by the opinion is available in the Store.

 

Med. Miles Sp. z o. o., hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”, establishes this Privacy and Cookies Policy, hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”.

3. Cookies

The Store uses cookies, i.e. short text information stored on the Customer’s device, which can then be read by the Seller.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:

  1. a) adapting the content of the Store to the preferences of each Customer and optimizing the use of the Store; in particular, these files make it possible to recognize the Customer’s device and properly display the website, tailored to his individual needs;
  2. b) remembering the Customer’s session, thanks to which the Customer does not have to re-enter the login and password on each subpage of the Website;
  3. c) adapting the content of the newsletter to the preferences of each Customer;
  4. d) detecting authentication violations in the Store;
  5. e) for marketing purposes, including remarketing, i.e. displaying advertisements about the Store and the Seller to Customers on other websites.

 

The Administrator uses External Cookies to popularize the Store via social media: Facebook, Instagram. The Store uses two basic types of cookies:

  • “session”: these are temporary files that are stored on each Customer’s device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (web browser);
  • “permanent”: are stored on each Customer’s device for the time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted.

 

The Seller also informs Customers that changing the configuration of the web browser which prevents or limits the storage of cookies on the Customer’s device may limit the functionality of the services provided. Similar consequences may result from deleting cookies when providing services. This may prevent you from logging in to the Store or interrupt your session after logging in.

Cookies are placed on the Customer’s device and may also be used by third parties cooperating with the Seller.

4. Miscellaneous

Customers cannot use the services offered in the Store anonymously or under a pseudonym

The Seller also records the IP address of the computer used by each Customer to visit the Store. The above is intended to optimize the content of the Store so that it best meets the needs of each Customer
